User Content

5.1 Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the content you post on SeaFace, including photos, videos, posts, and comments. We do not claim ownership of your content.

5.2 License to SeaFace

By posting content, you grant SeaFace a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, transferable license to:

Host, store, and display your content
Distribute your content through our platform
Modify your content for technical reasons (e.g., resizing images)
Use your content for promotional purposes with your consent

This license ends when you delete your content or your account, though copies may remain in backups for a reasonable period.

Reverse engineer our platform

7.2 User IP

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe your copyright has been infringed, please provide us with:

Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
Identification of the infringing material
Your contact information
A statement of good faith belief that use is not authorized
A statement under penalty of perjury that information is accurate

Termination and Suspension

8.1 By You

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, your content will be removed from public view within 30 days, though copies may remain in backups for a reasonable period.

8.2 By SeaFace

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

You violate these terms
Your conduct poses a safety or security risk
We are required to do so by law
Your account is inactive for an extended period

Disclaimer of Warranties

SEAFACE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including:

Implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
Warranties of uninterrupted, timely, or error-free service
Warranties of accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
Warranties regarding security or that our platform is virus-free

We do not control or endorse user content and are not responsible for the actions of users. Your interactions with other users are at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SEAFACE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of SeaFace shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Nigeria. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of these courts.

11.1 Dispute Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us. We'll try to resolve the issue within 30 days. If the dispute cannot be resolved, you may pursue the claim in court.

Miscellaneous Provisions

12.1 Entire Agreement

These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and SeaFace regarding your use of the platform.

12.2 Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

12.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of future enforcement of that right or provision.

12.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these terms without restriction.

12.5 Force Majeure

We are not liable for failures or delays due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, pandemics, or power outages.
